A leading provider of warehouse automation and intralogistics software solutions is seeking a Lead Software Developer to drive the design and delivery of complex automation projects.
This is a senior, hands‑on role combining technical leadership, solution architecture, and customer‑facing delivery, working on a proprietary warehouse execution and control platform used in highly automated distribution environments.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Owning technical design and architecture for customer implementations
- Translating business requirements into scalable software solutions and delivery plans
- Leading and mentoring development teams, including code reviews and design decisions
- Acting as the technical point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders
- Driving full project lifecycle delivery (requirements → development → deployment)
- Resolving complex issues related to performance, reliability, and automation systems
Hands‑On Technical Work
- Developing applications using C#/.NET (Framework & modern .NET)
- Building UI solutions with WPF / MVVM
- Designing and optimizing SQL Server databases, queries, and stored procedures
- Developing REST APIs and service integrations
- Integrating software with warehouse automation systems (WCS/WES), PLCs, AMRs, and host systems
Tech Environment
- C#, .NET (4.8 / .NET 8)
- WPF, MVVM, XAML
- SQL Server
- Azure DevOps (Boards, Pipelines, Repos)
- REST / service‑based architectures
- Industrial system interfaces (PLC, AMR, etc.)
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in software development (object‑oriented languages)
- Strong background in C#/.NET development
- Experience in a technical lead or senior engineering role
- Ability to translate customer requirements into solution architecture
- Experience with Agile delivery and tools like Azure DevOps
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with warehouse automation, WMS/WCS/WES, or industrial systems
- Exposure to PLC communication or robotics integration
- Background in high‑availability or performance‑critical systems
