Imperium Commodity Search is retained by an international oil & energy trading house covering both the physical and paper markets in a number of key and growing energy asset classes. With established physical flows in crude and products, the firm is seeking an Oil Trader to work directly with the senior management (MD & CFO) to manage an existing book of clients and nurture relationships within the Physical Crude & Products sector.
With vast experience in the global oil and products trading space, you will be responsible for managing key business relations that have been established over the last 20+ years with the senior management. The opportunity is to develop new business, structure trades and execute business within the global Oil sector working with an extremely strong book of clients & suppliers already in place.

Responsibilities
- Manage key business relations within the Crude Oil, Distillates, and products space (Crude, Jet Fuel, Gas Oil, Gasoline etc).
- Identify opportunities with the senior management to increase business, structure trades and execute existing pipeline of business.
- Produce market reports & market analysis for an existing client portfolio ensuring accurate and up to date data is available to the sector.
- Transfer existing relations and new enquiries into profitable trades across the physical Crude and Distillates markets globally working with the company teams across London, Geneva and Dubai.
- Working closely with the MD & CFO to originate and structure new trades within the global physical Crude Oil, Jet Fuel, Gasoline, Gasoil markets for an existing client portfolio.
Experience
- 3+ years’ experience in a Physical Trader, business development or customer relationship role within a global trading house in the Oil sector.
- Excellent knowledge of the global oil, crude, products, distillates trading space.
- Consistently proven results in managing customer relations within the Oil, Crude, Gasoline, Jet fuel space.
- Good analytical skills.
- Located in London (or able to relocate).
- English and Fluent Russian speaker.
