About the Role
At GSF Car Parts, our Category Programme team plays a crucial role in developing our product offering across multiple sales channels. As a Support Product Manager you will support the Programme Manager in ensuring that the category and business objectives are achieved.

Categories include:
- Oil and Automotive Fluids (Coolant, Adblue, Screen wash, etc.)
- Consumables (Additives and workshop dry consumables)
- Accessories and Performance parts
- Electric vehicle specific parts
Main Duties
- Developing and defining brand strategies within each category considering market size, suppliers, competition, market share, growth, and trends to increase sales, profit, and market share.
- Managing the life cycle of categories, ensuring stocking profiling aligns with business needs and liaising with supply chain and procurement.
- Reviewing lost sales and conversion data to support development of core product lines and category areas.
- Consolidating product offers to improve pricing, availability, or overall commercial offer.
- Working with the pricing team to position category pricing correctly for the market while maximizing sales opportunity.
- Supporting the catalogue team to ensure market‑leading cataloguing information is available.
- Supporting eCommerce channel growth, driving online sales and marketing initiatives.
- Assisting marketing and business needs by implementing compelling category and promotional campaigns to drive growth.
- Working with the procurement team to identify the best sources for products and brands within categories to achieve sales and margin objectives.
- Supporting branches and functional departments with product queries.
About You
Successful candidates will have experience in commercial procurement and/or marketing, ideally within the automotive aftermarket or FMCG environment.
What You'll Need To Succeed
- Knowledge of product management.
- Experience developing channel management and running product promotions.
- Excellent data management skills.
- Advanced Excel skills (Microsoft Office).
- Experience with MAM or similar systems.
- Ability to use data to analyse and interpret business requirements.
- Strong communication, influencing, negotiating, and persuasive skills.
- Ability to act on own initiative.
