Senior Project Engineer and Project Engineer

Location: Birmingham area

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 12 months

Hours: 40 per week

Rate: Competitive market rates

What You’ll Be Doing

• Oversee and verify the contractor’s design assurance activities for building services across multiple sites.
• Ensure the integration and certification of systems including:
  • Lighting
  • Electrical
  • Mechanical
  • HVAC
  • Power
  • Fire safety
• Provide oversight during the design phase, ensuring compliance, quality, and technical standards are met.
• Work closely with internal teams to support upfront design verification and assurance processes.
• Be primarily based on-site in Birmingham, with occasional travel as required.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience in MEP/building services assurance within large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of:
  • Contractor design verification
  • Systems integration
  • Certification processes
• Ability to manage and coordinate multiple technical sub-systems.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, delivery-focused mindset.
• Flexibility to work full-time, with at least 3 days per week on-site in Birmingham.
