As a Senior Frontend Engineer in our Experience Group, you’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining seller‑faceing products, including the dashboard and design system. These are used by thousands of organisations, small businesses, independent developers and the next generation of AI‑native builders.

You’ll partner with product managers and designers, using our design system as a bridge between design intent and engineering reality. You’ll ensure that our UI surfaces remain consistent, accessible, and high‑fidelity at scale. You’ll work with experts to achieve success, develop your own skills, and grow your career.

What you’ll do:

  • Transform seller‑facing products such as the dashboard into rich, seamless experiences to help our sellers grow their business and maximise the value Paddle can offer them.
  • Shape and enhance our design system in collaboration with product designers, driving adoption in multiple products.
  • Contribute high‑quality Typescript code in a large codebase used by several teams, optimising for collaboration, developer experience and throughput.
  • Champion frontend excellence and ways of working across the frontend guild.
  • Collaborate on features to a high standard from initial concept and planning, right through to rollout, with other engineers and non‑technical colleagues, and with excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Level‑up the team’s engineering practices through mentoring other engineers, leading the technical planning of team initiatives, and driving improvements to quality, with an eye for edge‑cases.
  • Practise DevOps: you’re responsible for getting your code to production, supporting and monitoring its performance.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Strong technical background with proficiency in TypeScript, React and CSS.
  • Deep interest in excellent user experiences and how they can be achieved through technical craftsmanship. Direct experience with design systems is ideal.
  • Thrives in a collaborative product development process, actively contributing from design through to deployment and maintenance.
  • Has a proactive attitude towards finding ways to improve the code and team processes.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of the development process—from design through to deployment and maintenance.
  • Is someone who takes pride in what you build, with an eye for detail and edge‑cases.
