An experienced and motivated Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional is required to lead the Falls Prevention Service across the Trust. The role combines clinical expertise, practice development, education, quality improvement and multidisciplinary collaboration to reduce falls‑related harm and improve patient outcomes.
The post holder will provide strategic and operational leadership in the design, delivery and evaluation of education and training programmes to enhance staff knowledge, competence and confidence in falls risk assessment, prevention and post‑fall management. They will also be accountable for ensuring the highest standards of patient care through ongoing comprehensive assessment, care planning, implementation and evaluation of falls prevention and management programmes, underpinned by clinical governance frameworks, continuous professional development and quality improvement methodologies.
