Night Shift – Full-time
Shifts: Monday – Thursday: 18:00 – 06:00 (4 x 12‑hour shifts) – constant nights, 4 day week.

Job Description
We are recruiting for a CNC Horizontal OR Vertical Borer Setter/Operator/Programmer to join a busy and well‑established engineering team. The CNC Horizontal OR Vertical Borer Setter/Operator/Programmer will be responsible for setting, operating, and programming CNC milling / turning machines using Fanuc control systems. Working from detailed customer drawings and specifications, you will produce high‑quality medium to heavy components to tight tolerances. The CNC Horizontal OR Vertical Borer Setter/Operator/Programmer will also utilise CAD/CAM software such as Cimco or Fusion for programming tasks. This role requires a high level of independence, and the CNC Horizontal OR Vertical Borer Setter/Operator/Programmer will be expected to carry out self‑inspection to ensure all work meets strict quality standards.
Skills & Experience
- Experience working as a CNC Horizontal OR Vertical Borer Setter/Operator/Programmer
- Strong knowledge of Fanuc control systems
- Experience using CAD/CAM software such as Cimco or Fusion
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience machining medium to heavy components
- Ability to self‑inspect work and maintain high quality standards
- Willingness to work overtime when required
