The Ecotricity Technology department is a small friendly team with a strong focus on getting results, with everyone committed to delivering both individually and as part of the group/project.
Ecotricity has a strong internal team supporting and developing solutions including Salesforce Service and Sales. This Salesforce Administrator role will deliver system changes and improvements using your experience to help us get value from our Salesforce investment.
You will be helping us maintain and grow our Salesforce platform, used by our internal sales & service colleagues, our customers through our mobile app and online account, as well as prospective customers looking to join us.
We use a variety of Salesforce services, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Omnistudio & Mobile Publisher.
What you will do
- Work as part of a team of Salesforce admins/developers delivering Salesforce changes
- Work collaboratively with the Salesforce Tech Lead to develop best practice, streamline throughput, and ensure consistent high quality output.
- Provide technical input in discussions with management and stakeholders.
- Work on new functionality, changes and faults, including complicated tasks as appropriate.
- Seek day to day opportunities to upskill and cross train with your peers.
- Contribute research into new beneficial technology and process improvements.
We have a good work life balance, with the management team typically being in the office two or three days per week and working from home on other days.
About You
You will have considerable technical experience administering a Salesforce org, including building automations using flow, integrating with other platforms, supporting end users and building streamlined processes. Knowledge of the Energy industry, Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Salesforce ‘Energy & Utilities Cloud’ would be a bonus, but not necessary.
You will be comfortable working with business and technical stakeholders, keeping them informed, presenting and demoing solutions routinely. You will have good communication skills for every audience.
We will actively support you, but you should be self-motivated, delivery driven, and not need to be overly led. You should strive for best practice and technical excellence and be a person that actively looks for continual improvement opportunities.
Knowledge and skills
- Extensive Salesforce Administration experience with Sales & Service Cloud.
- Experience of using flow to create automations and UI elements is essential.
- Experience of Salesforce Marketing Cloud is desirable.
- Experience using Git and a devops release process is desirable.
- Experience of working in an agile development environment and using Jira.
- Problem solving attitude.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
