Salesforce Technical Architect (Day Rate Contract)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the end-to-end design of solutions on the Salesforce platform and other CRM technologies.
• Own the architecture of the end-to-end solution.
• Lead and mentor the development team in designing solutions for strategic programmes.
• Produce solution architecture documents and artefacts in line with organisational standards.
• Enforce best practices, development standards and ensure quality delivery of enterprise solutions.
• Drive application of DevOps tools and methodologies.
• Mentor team members and drive the direction of the team’s technical focus, training, and certifications.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to define solutions.
• Establish necessary governance and quality management framework.
• Help with LWC design and development and assist with UX design.
• Provide input to the strategic direction of technology to assist in developing the enterprise architecture.
• Identify Salesforce technical solutions and partner products to meet different requirements.
• Hands‑on Salesforce solution development with proven knowledge across declarative configuration and programmatic development.
• Perform code reviews and sign off technical design and solutions.
• Collaborate with the InfoSec team focusing on the security of the bank’s Salesforce platform and connected components.

Ideal Candidate

• CRM or Salesforce architecture experience.
• Experience as a lead solution architect for Salesforce platform to design enterprise‑scale solutions.
• Thorough understanding of OOP, design patterns, and enterprise application integration.
• Strong experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud and Vlocity platform.
• Strong understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem and other CRM technologies.
• Excellent technical documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to establish governance, develop processes and methodologies.
• Experience and understanding of Agile project methodologies.
