Butler Rose is delighted to be working on an exclusive basis with a highly regarded, international organisation to recruit a Senior Finance Manager for their UK operations.
This is a pivotal leadership role, offering the opportunity to take full ownership of the finance function while partnering closely with the MD and senior stakeholders internationally.
Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will play a key role in driving financial performance, ensuring robust controls, and supporting strategic decision-making across a dynamic, project‑led business.
This position offers a unique blend of hands‑on financial control and commercial influence, making it ideal for someone looking to step into a high‑impact, visible leadership role.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all day‑to‑day financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and strong financial governance
- Own the production of management and statutory accounts, including month‑end and year‑end processes
- Deliver insightful reporting including cash flow, KPIs and performance analysis
- Drive budgeting and forecasting processes, supporting strategic planning
- Partner with senior leadership to influence business growth and commercial decisions
- Oversee project financial performance, revenue recognition and cost control
- Manage audit processes and ensure compliance with UK and international regulations
- Act as the key finance contact for international stakeholders and group reporting
- Lead a small finance team
About You
- Qualified accountant, QBE or equivalent
- Proven experience in a senior finance role within a UK‑based business
- Strong technical knowledge including VAT across multiple jurisdictions
- Commercially astute with the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders
- Experience in project‑based or international environments (desirable)
- Confident communicator with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
