WellestablishedconsultancybusinessoperatingwithintheprofessionalservicessectorarelookingtorecruitaCreditControllertojointheirteambasedinLeeds.

Thisisahands-onCreditControlpositionwithinasmall,close-knitfinanceteam.You’lltakeownershipofdebtcollection,workingcloselywithinternalandexternalstakeholderstomanageandreduceoutstandingdebt.

Theroleisprimarilyfocusedonpurecreditcontrol,withanemphasisonbuildingstrongworkingrelationships,resolvingqueries,andimprovingcashcollectionprocesses.You’llplayakeyroleinmaintainingcashflowacrossthebusiness.

Your remit will include

• Proactivelymanageandcollectoutstandingdebtviaphoneandemail
• Buildstrongworkingrelationshipswithclientstosupportcollections
• Handlequeryresolutionefficiently
• Allocatecashandensurepaymentsarecorrectlyposted
• Followstructuredcreditcontrolprocessestoimprovecollectionperformance
• Workwithremittancesandensureaccuratereconciliations
• Supportimprovementstocreditcontrolsystemsandprocessesasnewtoolsareintroduced

You will need

• Previousexperienceincreditcontrol,accountsreceivable,orafinance-relatedrole(orastronggraduate/apprenticewithrelevantexposure)
• Aconfidentcommunicationstyle,comfortablespeakingwithclientsandinternalstakeholders
• Strongrelationship-buildingskillswithaprofessionalapproach
• Goodattentiontodetail(particularlyaroundcashpostingandreconciliations)
• Theabilitytobeorganised,andfollowstructuredprocessesandcontrols
