Job Title: Advanced Social Work Practitioner – MACPT
Salary: £42,839 – £46,142 per annum, plus Market Forces £4000

The Role
As part of the Social Care reforms, we are further developing our Children’s Family Front Door to support families and introduce a new multi‑agency child protection team (MACPT). The team will carry out child protection investigations, safety planning, manage SUDi/C joint work and MASH case discussions. Candidates will work as part of a multi‑disciplinary team, attending strategy discussions, undertaking child protection enquiries to conclusion, making recommendations to ensure families receive timely support and intervention, and building strong trusted relationships with community partners. Work will primarily be in Worcester, Malvern, Wyre Forest and Bromsgrove districts.
Team leaders are experienced permanent managers who provide supervision, support and guidance in complex child protection matters, fostering a culture of learning, critical thinking and reflective practice. The team collaborates with police, health, education and domestic abuse colleagues to share information and plan safety for children, young people and families.
We seek social workers with post‑qualifying social work experience of at least 2 years, significant knowledge and experience in child protection practice, and evidence of partnership working. The ideal applicant demonstrates application of the levels of need guidance and the ability to employ the right service at the right time.
