Key Responsibilities
Plan, develop, and manage production schedules to meet customer requirements while optimizing efficiency and minimizing downtime.
Lead, train, and motivate a cross-functional production team, promoting a strong culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Ensure all products meet strict precision engineering standards and customer specifications through effective quality control and ongoing process monitoring.
Drive process improvement initiatives by applying Lean Manufacturing principles and methodologies such as Six Sigma to increase productivity and reduce waste.
Manage production resources including machinery, tools, and materials to ensure optimal utilization and minimal operational disruption.
Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Monitor production budgets, control operational costs, and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality and delivery performance.
Collaborate closely with engineering, quality, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations and on-time delivery.
Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, KPIs, and continuous improvement activities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management within the precision engineering industry.
Proven experience in implementing Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong knowledge of CNC machining, CAD/CAM software, and advanced manufacturing technologies.
Experience with ERP systems and production planning software.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Results-oriented mindset with strong organizational and project management skills.
