Field Service Engineer

Overview

A leading international supplier of processing machinery is actively seeking a Field Service Engineer to work with their commercial and banking clients in and around the Midlands area. Based from home, you will be responsible for providing site support for their customers, including the service, repair, preventative maintenance and installation of large processing equipment, and resolving technical issues with support from technical support if needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site service, repair, preventative maintenance and installation of large processing equipment at customer sites.
• Respond to and resolve technical issues with support from technical support teams as needed.
• Travel to customer sites within the Midlands region from a home-based base.

Qualifications

• Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering qualification preferred.
• Experience as a field service or customer support engineer.
• Experience with processing machinery is desirable; candidates with experience on a range of electro‑mechanical equipment will be considered, and full training will be provided.

Benefits

• Salary £38,775 per year, plus Company Vehicle, Bonus Scheme, Overtime and Equipment Training Courses.
