Shift Engineer (Continental Shift)
Location: Salisbury
Salary: £34,000 – £38,000 + £6,000 Shift Allowance
We are currently recruiting for a Shift Engineer to join a well‑established Facilities Management provider on a static site in Salisbury. This is a great opportunity to join a stable contract offering long‑term security, a supportive team environment, and a clear structure.
The role will involve carrying out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a range of building services systems, ensuring the site remains safe, compliant, and fully operational at all times.
You’ll be responsible for fault finding, repairs, and general maintenance across electrical and/or mechanical systems, working as part of a shift team on a continental pattern. The role offers a good balance of routine and reactive work, with strong support on site.
We are open to speaking with both fully qualified engineers and time‑served candidates who have solid hands‑on experience within maintenance or building services environments.
Requirements
- Time‑served or qualified engineer (electrical or mechanical bias)
- Experience within facilities management or building services preferred
- Strong fault‑finding and maintenance skills
- Comfortable working a continental shift pattern
- Good understanding of health and safety and compliance
- Must be able to pass a DBS check
