Lean Competences & Training
Develop personal expertise in Lean tools and methodologies applied in manufacturing operations.
Train and coach production teams on Lean standards, tools, and best practices to ensure proper implementation.
Participate in regional/global Kaizen events and share best practices across teams.
Contribute to Lean working groups to improve standards and tools.
Lean Strategy & System Deployment
Ensure Lean principles are embedded in new projects at the appropriate stage.
Support the Production/Plant Manager in maintaining a continuous improvement culture across operations.
Conduct Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and propose annual Kaizen/workshop plans to drive productivity improvements.
Define and support Lean strategy, including Lean targets and budgeting.
Manage Lean system deployment, including self-assessments and improvement action plans.
Implement Lean standards and best practices across production teams.
Gemba & Kaizen Activities
Coach team members on Lean tools through on-the-job training.
Lead and support Kaizen workshops, ensuring implementation of improvement actions.
Conduct regular audits (5S, Kanban, Leader Standard Work) and ensure compliance with Lean standards.
Organize and facilitate weekly Lean meetings and track Kaizen progress on the shop floor.
Identify non-conformances and support corrective actions in daily operations.
Promote Lean thinking and continuous improvement culture on the Gemba.
Lean Performance & Reporting
Ensure accurate Lean reporting and KPI tracking (Tier metrics, productivity scorecards).
Prepare quarterly Lean reports covering Kaizen progress, savings, and upcoming initiatives.
Share and deploy best practices across internal and external sites.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience applying and coaching Lean principles in a manufacturing environment.
Proven experience facilitating Kaizen events and delivering measurable improvements.
Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
Ability to influence, drive change, and build strong relationships across organization levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience in coaching, training, and developing teams.
Knowledge of Lean tools such as 5S, Visual Management, Standard Work, Muda Hunting, SMED, TPM.
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience in automation or manufacturing system implementation is an advantage.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Experience in automotive/Lean manufacturing environments (e.g., Toyota Production System) is preferred.
