PR Consultant

BlueSky PR is a specialist communications agency working with clients in the recruitment, HR, and talent management sectors. As we grow, we’re looking for a proactive and creative PR Consultant to join our remote-first team and help shape the future of our client work.

The role

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone looking to start or grow their career in PR. Whether you're just starting out or have a couple of years’ experience under your belt, we’re more interested in finding the right person than ticking boxes.

We’re open to both full-time and part-time arrangements, depending on the individual’s circumstances and preferences.

You’ll play a key role in delivering impactful media relations and content strategies for our clients, working closely with senior team members and directly with clients to secure media coverage, craft compelling narratives, and build relationships with journalists and influencers.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of PR campaigns across multiple client accounts
• Write press releases, thought leadership articles, and blog content
• Pitch stories to journalists and secure media coverage in relevant outlets
• Monitor media coverage and compile client reports
• Conduct research to support campaign planning and media outreach
• Assist with social media content and strategy where relevant
• Attend monthly team meetups for collaboration and planning

What we’re looking for

We’re open to candidates with a range of experience levels. You might be a recent graduate with a passion for PR, someone with a year or two of experience in communications or journalism, a recruitment marketer looking for a new challenge, or someone returning to work after a break. What matters most is your attitude, writing ability, and interest in the sectors we work in.

• Strong writing and communication skills
• A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of tasks
• Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Interest or experience in recruitment, HR, or B2B sectors is a big plus
• Comfortable working remotely and independently, with regular virtual check-ins
