This is a genuine opportunity to grow an already successful desk, build long-term relationships with schools and teachers, and enjoy uncapped commission with the full support of an experienced, down-to-earth team.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and grow a profitable, well-established Primary desk
- Account manage long-standing school clients and win new business
- Match and place registered teachers and support staff into day-to-day cover, long-term contracts, and permanent roles
- Recruit and register high-quality candidates (LinkedIn, job boards, careers fairs, networking)
- Write compelling job adverts and run proactive sourcing campaigns
- Conduct school visits and deliver exceptional customer service
- Drive desk growth through targeted business development
The role is fast-paced, varied, and you’ll see your results quickly — perfect for someone who thrives on targets and enjoys real ownership.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree-educated (or equivalent recruitment/sales experience)
- 6+ months’ experience in a target-driven, phone-based role (recruitment, telesales, call centre, or similar)
- Confident communicator with strong phone and written skills
- Ambitious, resilient, and hungry to build a rewarding recruitment career
- Proactive “can-do” attitude and a genuine interest in education
- Previous recruitment experience is advantageous but not essential — we provide excellent training
What You’ll Get
£27k-£35k basic salary (depending on experience)
- Uncapped commission — top performers on this desk regularly achieve £65k-£85k OTE
- 24 days holiday + bank holidays + your birthday off
- Reduced hours every 6 weeks during school holidays
