Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with Preliminary Risk Assessments (Phase 1 Desk Studies)
  • Supporting and undertaking Phase 2 intrusive site investigations
  • Logging soil and rock, sampling, and groundwater/gas monitoring
  • Coordinating laboratory testing for environmental and geotechnical analysis
  • Interpreting site investigation data and assisting with risk assessments
  • Contributing to remediation strategies and earthworks assessments
  • Preparing technical reports, including factual and interpretative reports
  • Ensuring health & safety compliance during site works
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, and internal teams

What We’re Looking For

  • A degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Strong interest in contaminated land and geoenvironmental engineering
  • Good understanding of site investigations and environmental risk assessment principles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive and organised approach to work
  • Willingness to undertake site work across the UK
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Right to work in the UK
