King’s Trust Team Leader

Location Stockport

Your role:

  • You will be working with a group of learners as they progress their journey on the 12 Week Team programme. From recruitment of learners to the end of programme you will be working closely with a Team Manager and other GMFRS staff to provide an engaging, challenging fun programme designed to inspire and motivate young people 16-25.
  • Based in Stockport, you will be at one of our long standing team locations at the heart of a community serving Tameside, East Manchester and Glossop.

About you:

  • You will have experience of delivering portfolio based learning programme
  • Project planning and budget monitoring
  • Standardisation and quality assurance process
  • Practical experience of safeguarding vulnerable young people and adults
  • Supporting training and education for learners from a range of backgrounds
  • Have D1 driving qualification is desirable
  • Full UK Driving Licence is essential
  • Able to attend 3 residential programmes (3-4 nights each programme) per academic year
  • Ability to work GM wide
