Lead Security Engineer

A leading Financial Services firm is seeking a Lead Security Engineer to join their Global Cyber Security Defence team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the optimisation and strategic development of threat detection and engineering tools, and to lead a global team of 5 analysts based in India, Japan, and the UK, supporting the Cyber Defence team's mission to stay ahead in innovation.

Responsibilities

• Optimise and strategically develop threat detection and engineering tools.
• Lead a global team of 5 analysts spanning India, Japan, and the UK.
• Support the Cyber Defence team's mission to stay ahead of emerging threats.

Qualifications

• Experience in SIEM maintenance and log ingestion.
• Experience developing and fine‑tuning use cases.
• Experience using Sentinel and Defender.

This is a hybrid position (3 days per week in-office), located just outside of London, offering a salary of up to £105,000 plus bonus and benefits.
