Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Planning and Continuous Improvement Manager to join our team in Swindon, supporting our customer, Iceland. As a Planning and Continuous Improvement Manager supporting our two sites in Swindon, you will play a critical part in delivering sustainable performance improvements and measurable cost savings through process optimisation, data‑driven insight and culture change while leaving continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, eliminate waste and embed improvement culture into the operation.
This is a full time, permanent position, predominately working Monday to Friday, 08:00 till 16:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Partner with Operational and Functional teams to translate complex data into actionable insights, practical planning and modelling tools
- Ensure existing processes are regularly reviewed, monitored, and optimised to maintain high standards of efficiency, quality, and control
- Own and lead the site CI strategy, ensuring alignment with GXO operational excellence frameworks and customer objectives
- Consolidate and present business and performance data in a clear, professional format for site leadership and customer reviews
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Proven experience in a Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, or Planning role within a warehouse or distribution environment
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, credibility, and confidence at all levels
- Recognised industry certifications such as Lean, Six Sigma, IOSH etc are desirable but training can be given
