Project Manager

Our prestigious client based in modern spacious offices in Poole seeks an experienced Maintenance Project Manager to join the busy office‑based team that supports the Cruise division and ship maintenance team.

Responsibilities

• Line‑manage the engineering team, ensuring they have the requisite skills, equipment and qualifications.
• Arrange travel and accommodation for the engineering team, recording breaks and time in lieu.
• Plan the service and maintenance programme in agreement with the client.
• Develop and implement a maintenance reporting structure for visibility and transparency.
• Maintain mechanisms for effective follow‑ups to ensure timely delivery and accountability.
• Visit completed installations, handover to the maintenance team and confirm client satisfaction.
• Manage the CBN email inbox and communicate with assigned vessels.
• Record issues on the log, use the RAG process and own issues through to resolution.
• Build and communicate project plans with key milestones for each onboarding, ensuring stakeholder alignment.
• Provide weekly progress updates internally and externally, flagging risks and proposing solutions.
• Prepare monthly customer reports, including engineer visit summaries, usage analysis and cost breakdowns.
• Update and maintain the budget tracker following each service visit.
• Analyse KPI data and feedback to identify opportunities for service improvement (e.g., maintenance cost per passenger, customer NPS).

Requirements

• Previous experience working within a busy team.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to partners, warehouses and customer vessels.
• Must be office‑based in Poole and available for occasional out‑of‑hours work.

• Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 per annum
