Lead the analysis, systems, and vendor strategy that power Envision's global procurement operations.
Role responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Lead vendor negotiations to secure competitive pricing, payment terms, and service quality.
- Support the Vendor Approval Committee (VAC) process by coordinating RFPs, comparing bids, and presenting recommendations.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with agreed contractual terms.
- Review purchase requisitions for completeness and business need.
- Process standard and purchase orders following approval, ensuring accuracy and compliance with procurement policy.
- Resolve issues related to delivery, billing, or invoicing in partnership with Finance and Accounting teams.
- Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and trends that inform decision-making.
- Support the development and implementation of scalable procurement policies and procedures.
- Drive systemization and automation within Envision's procurement cycle using digital tools (e.g., Coupa, Zip, or equivalent).
- Champion continuous improvement by streamlining workflows and enhancing visibility across global purchasing activity.
- Act as a liaison between business units, Finance, Legal, and external vendors to ensure transparency and effective communication.
- Provide insights and reporting on procurement activity to support budget management and financial planning.
Skills & expertise
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Experience working in a procurement, purchasing, or sourcing role within a mid-size or international organization.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills with a focus on cost optimization.
- Proven negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to drive alignment and secure positive outcomes across diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency with procurement software (e.g., Coupa, Zip), accounting systems (preferably NetSuite), and Concur.
- Intermediate MS Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and geographies.
To support team collaboration, candidates must be available to work on Eastern Time (EST) hours at least two days per week.
Salary range (for US roles only) - $83,000 - $109,000. The provided salary range reflects the potential base salary for this role in the United States, considering factors such as your professional and academic experience, training, and role responsibilities.
