About The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen at EKC Canterbury College as a Learning and Skills Coach. Are you passionate about supporting students to achieve their full potential? Do you believe in the power of literacy and numeracy to open doors to opportunities? Can you support students to unlock key study and digital skills?

As a Learning and Skills Coach you will provide 1-2-1 and small group support to students, delivering sessions on English, maths, study skills and digital skills. You will work as part of a team of coaches who work across the College, which means that we can play to each team member’s strengths to deliver different aspects of our provision.

About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference to the future careers of our students, providing academic and pastoral support. You will be highly organised, creative, and able to plan engaging and innovative sessions with demonstrated interpersonal skills.

Assessing and tracking student progress to further plan interventions will be a vital part of the role, as well as ensuring all students develop the skills they need to succeed.
