We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to oversee our consulting services category in the U.S. This role involves strategizing to secure cost-effective deals and high-performing suppliers, identifying resources to support our rapidly growing businesses across various segments and regions, engaging with key stakeholders to assess needs and define supplier strategies, and ensuring compliance for effective risk control.
Responsibilities
- Lead sourcing for the Consulting Services category across EMEA, North America and Latin America, identifying and evaluating consulting firms based on expertise, experience and cost.
- Develop and optimise procurement processes to improve efficiency, governance and cost-effectiveness.
- Partner with business leaders to define procurement strategies and deliver scalable, commercially sound solutions.
- Conduct market and industry analysis, using data and benchmarking to identify high-quality, cost-effective suppliers.
- Manage supplier performance and deliverables, establishing clear KPIs to drive competition, efficiency and continuity of supply.
- Analyse data to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities, and present clear, evidence-based recommendations.
- Influence cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, demonstrating strong execution, change management and communication skills; the role requires full-time on-site presence (5 days a week in office).
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience in management / strategy consulting or 5+ years' in a relevant procurement role, including partnerships with consultancies.
- Strong understanding and practical application of sourcing and procurement principles and best practices.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence effectively.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to support strategic decision-making and solve complex problems.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing deadlines effectively.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous environments, managing conflict and navigating organisational change.
- Willingness to travel within the region and/or internationally as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant professional certifications in procurement (e.g., CSCP, CPM, CPP or equivalent).
- Experience working in fast-paced, preferably technology-driven environments.
- Solid understanding of regional procurement regulations, market trends and best practices.
- Familiarity with procurement tools and systems.
