The Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager to lead all aspects of food safety, quality, and compliance within a fast-paced Food Manufacturing environment. This is a key leadership role, responsible for maintaining the highest standards across production while supporting ongoing business growth and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the technical/quality function across the site
• Own and maintain the HACCP plan and food safety systems
• Act as the primary contact for external audits (BRC, retailer, EHO)
• Drive a strong food safety culture across production and wider site teams
• Manage customer relationships on all technical matters, including complaints, specifications, and audits
• Oversee quality assurance processes, ensuring consistency of product and adherence to specifications

About You

• Proven experience in a Technical Manager / Quality Manager role within food manufacturing
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence across all levels of the business
• A proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on continuous improvement
