About the Role:

The Project Support Officer post is responsible for supporting the Senior Infrastructure Manager in overseeing delivery of infrastructure projects.

The postholder will support the administration of projects through the use of robust governance frameworks, management tools and processes. The postholder will also provide administrative support to the development of the wider team’s outputs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support alignment of client Strategic Objectives with Infrastructure Plans and delivery programmes.
  • Provide administrative support for the development and management of outputs, ensuring compliance with governance frameworks and alignment with Infrastructure priorities.
  • Assist in delivering priority projects, including acting as secretary for governance meetings (scheduling, agendas, packs, minutes, and action tracking).
  • Support the management team with project requirements, including maintaining risk and issue registers and working with stakeholders to resolve them.
  • Engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders to support project delivery.
  • Maintain, manage, and communicate all project documentation.

Key Requirements:

Essential:

  • MS O365 proficient.
  • Strong administration and governance skills.
  • Effective stakeholder management and engagement at all levels.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Organised with ability to work on own initiative and be proactive.

Other Key Points

  1. Security – The incumbent of this role must be a minimum of SC cleared (or able to apply) and a sole UK national.
  2. Working arrangements – The incumbent of this role must be able to do hybrid working with the ability to attend the site up to 2 days per week and / or to meet business needs, as requested. There may be a requirement to attend meetings in other locations (e.g. Glasgow) to support business needs
