Overview:
We are currently seeking a Management Accountant to join our team at Head Office on a 12 month Fixed Term contract.
As a Management Accountant you will be responsible to produce monthly management accounts, annual financial accounts and other financial and management information as required.
More about what you will do!
- The production of monthly management and annual financial accounts.
- Production of budgets, and the analysis of variances.
- Presentation of such reports to the management team.
- Monitoring and review of current accounting systems in order to recommend and introduce improved methods of working.
- Liaison with internal and external bodies.
- To liaise with accounting support staff, including Administration Team leaders.
- Compliance with Health and Safety Regulations.
- To undertake any other reasonable duties as required.
- To contribute to the Division finance team in relation to facilitating continuous improvement.
What we need from you!
- 3 - 4 years post qualification experience in an accountancy function
- Membership of a Professional Accountancy body (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Confidence to use initiative, and to problem solve, and in reporting this to the management team.
- Computer literate.
- Ability to contribute within a team environment.
