About You

  • ATT or IATI qualified, or currently working towards qualification

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a tax or accounting technician role

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Experience with accounting and tax software such as CCH, Sage, or Xero is desirable

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy

  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to present clear and accurate information

  • Able to manage your own workload and meet deadlines

  • Team player with a proactive approach and willingness to take on new responsibilities



About Your New Role

Always

  • Prepare self-assessment personal and corporate tax returns for a varied client portfolio

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in line with best practice

  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, with attention to detail


Often

  • Liaise with clients to gather information and respond to queries

  • Support senior staff with tax planning and advisory work

  • Assist with HMRC correspondence and enquiries

  • Prepare and assist with VAT and Making Tax Digital (MTD) returns


Occasionally

  • Support the wider team on ad hoc projects and assignments

  • Assist with process improvements and efficiencies


Never

  • Work in isolation without support from a collaborative and experienced team

  • Park in your bosses parking space
