About you:

  • Part-qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA (actively studying and progressing)
  • Previous experience in a finance role within practice or industry
  • Good understanding of accounting fundamentals, including month-end processes and reconciliations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Motivated to learn, develop, and progress within a finance career
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

What you'll do:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
  • Assist with audit preparation and liaise with auditors where required
  • Support month-end close processes including journals, accruals, and prepayments
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes and controls
  • Provide financial support to wider business functions
  • Assist with tax compliance and statutory reporting requirements
  • Support grant funding applications and interdepartmental financial processes
