Job Description:

Invisible Blue Ltd – invisibleblueuk.com @invisibleblueUK

We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Operations Manager with a strong background in event production. This role is key for the smooth day-to-day running of our production in-house and beyond, ensuring the team operates efficiently, profitably, and collaboratively.

About Us

We are a creative event production company specialising in scenic build and lighting design for events, including product launches, corporate and private parties, weddings, festivals, and brand activations across the UK and Europe.

The Role

The primary focus of this position is to oversee the daily operations of our workshop, warehouse, and on-site delivery. You will play a key role in coordinating departments, improving efficiency, and ensuring high standards across all operational areas.

You will manage and support the logistics, purchasing, workshop, and warehouse teams, ensuring all departments are aligned and performing effectively. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying inefficiencies, improving processes, and maintaining productivity within a fast-paced environment.

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills are essential, as you will be responsible for team management, staff reviews, and recruitment.

Alongside operational oversight, the role includes elements of financial administration using Xero, including freelancer payments, payroll coordination, and client invoicing.

This position requires hands-on experience in the event production industry. We are looking for someone who combines strong management and organisational skills with a practical, team-oriented attitude, as well as being equally comfortable leading strategy, and stepping onto the warehouse floor when needed.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company within the events industry, running varied projects alongside a driven and friendly team.
