Client Growth Director – Public Sector Data Analytics

Job Overview

We are recruiting a Client Growth Director for Ipsos Data Labs. The role focuses on business development in the public sector data space, driving growth through identifying new opportunities, creating proposals, and coordinating cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess new business opportunities within the public sector data space through detailed market research.
• Lead the development and submission of competitive proposals in response to RFPs, ensuring alignment with client objectives and Ipsos Data Labs offerings.
• Develop and implement internal processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in responding to opportunities.
• Build and maintain a robust network of contacts across the public sector to facilitate business development and track market trends.
• Collaborate with Ipsos Data Labs and Public Affairs to create new concepts and craft compelling proposals.
• Guide internal capability development to improve services, including bid strategy formulation and risk‑mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams (finance, legal, technical) to compile and produce submission content.
• Advise on skill requirements and train internal teams to address emerging client needs.

Qualifications

• Business leadership skills and a proven track record in public sector business development focused on data services.
• Established network of contacts within central government and the public sector data space.
• Deep understanding of public sector data dynamics and key stakeholders.
• Experience in bid management: opportunity identification, bid strategy formulation, proposal writing, risk assessment, budget management, and compliance assurance.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship‑building skills with public sector clients and decision‑makers.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage complex proposal submissions.
