Overview

Senior Software Engineer, 3 month contract, Manchester – 1 day per week, SC Eligible.

Responsibilities

• Full stack engineer leaning towards backend




• Most of the engineering work is Java and Spring boot




• Microservices deployed via docker containers.




• The front-end work is relatively minimal – using NunJucks and JavaScript, adhering to the GDS design guides




• Aiming for really strong Java engineers who have enough experience of JavaScript and Node to handle straightforward construction of web frontends using the tooling described above.
