The Podiatry Service in CLCH is dedicated to change and innovation and we are looking for new members of the team who are excited by doing things differently and breaking down the traditional divisions within the profession. Our goal is to create a new care pathway that makes targeted use of clinical sciences to develop clear, patient‑centred, evidence‑based packages of care for all appropriate referrals to the podiatry service. This work will inform projects to share learning through presentation and publication, so this role provides one day per week dedicated to research.

One part‑time (0.6 WTE) position based in the Inner North West division of CLCH NHS Trust, covering the tri‑borough area of Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster. Two vacancies are available for this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide NHS podiatry clinical care.
  • Engage in service development and patient experience activities such as audit and patient education.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, work autonomously, and maintain clinical standards.
  • Conduct clinical assessments and deliver care accordingly.
  • Conduct research one day per week.
  • Adapt to a fast‑moving service environment.

Qualifications

  • Substantial clinical experience in providing NHS podiatry.
  • BSc and evidence of post‑registration CPD.
  • Excellent sense of professional curiosity.
  • Experience in service development and/or patient experience in podiatry, including audit, patient stories and patient education.
  • Strong relationship‑building skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, comprehensive clinical assessment skills and the ability to provide care as determined by clinical assessments.

Benefits

We offer a competitive employment package—professional development, inclusive organisation, and opportunities to thrive while delivering high‑quality care.
