Head of Private Client – North London
A leading and well-established private client practice in North London is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Head of Private Client to lead and develop its growing team.
This is a senior leadership role offering the opportunity to shape the future of a highly regarded department, working with a diverse and high-net-worth client base on complex and rewarding matters.
The Role
You will take responsibility for overseeing the full spectrum of private client work, including:
- Wills, trusts, and estate planning
- Probate and estate administration
- Tax planning for high-net-worth individuals
- Court of Protection matters (where applicable)
In addition to your fee-earning work, you will play a key strategic role in:
- Leading and mentoring a team of solicitors and support staff
- Driving business development and strengthening client relationships
- Enhancing the firm’s reputation within the private client sector
- Supporting long-term departmental growth and profitability
About You
- A senior private client solicitor (10+ PQE or equivalent experience)
- Experienced in managing complex estates and high-value client matters
- A confident leader with a track record of developing teams
- Strong in client relationship management and business development
- STEP qualification (or equivalent) desirable but not essential
