Equipment Performance Engineer – Wolverhampton
Site: Wolverhampton | Salary: £56,783 per annum | Core Hours – Onsite
Responsibilities
- Drive the reliability, availability, and efficiency of site production assets through effective maintenance strategies, data‑driven decision‑making, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure site production equipment is maintained using the safest, most efficient and effective methods to maximise production uptime.
- Compile solutions and preventative actions using data from the maintenance system, root cause analysis methods, and downtime trend tracking.
- Promote cost‑effective maintenance solutions.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve ISO 55000 Asset Management standards.
- Oversee planned maintenance and statutory compliance schedules, coordinating with operational teams to minimise disruption.
- Drive focus and accountability for departmental KPIs, including reduction in equipment downtime and adherence to TPM plans.
Qualifications
- HND, HNC or degree in Engineering or a related systems‑based discipline (essential).
- Strong background in facilities or maintenance.
- Proven experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Relevant health & safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH).
