Are you a Quality Lead Inspector looking for a hands‑on, senior role? We are working with a well‑established engineering company to recruit a Quality Lead Inspector. This role has become available due to retirement and offers the chance to take full ownership of quality processes across the business.
Responsibilities
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to ensure product compliance
- Leading audits and maintaining ISO standards across the company
- Managing and resolving quality issues while implementing preventive measures
- Ensuring quality in hot work environments such as press, forge, or foundry operations
- Working closely with production teams to maintain high-quality standards
- Using IT systems effectively to record, monitor, and report quality data
This role requires someone with a strong character who can influence teams, drive improvements, and maintain high standards. You'll be hands‑on where needed but also confident in IT and reporting responsibilities.
About You
- Proven experience in quality inspection and auditing
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards and experience maintaining compliance
- Skilled in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Hands‑on approach with strong IT literacy
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to tackle quality issues proactively
Salary & Package
Salary: £34,000 - £45,000
