Domus have an exciting opportunity for a Positive Behaviour Support Manager to lead the PBS strategy across East and North Yorkshire Adult Learning Disability services. Services are located across Hull, Bridlington, Scarborough, and Whitby with a York office.

Ideally, we are looking for an experienced Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner/Manager but would certainly work with operational managers with relevant PBS qualifications.

Key responsibilities of a Positive Behaviour Support Manager

  • Lead the development, implementation, and review of the PBS strategy
  • Champion best practice and embed a positive, person-centred culture
  • Contribute to organisational growth and continuous improvement

Key requirements a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner must have

  • Proven experience in Positive Behaviour Support within health and social care
  • Experience supporting autistic adults, people with learning disabilities and mental health needs
  • Sound understanding of trauma informed care and supporting people with enhanced support needs and behaviours of concern
  • PBS qualification (essential); Level 5, MSc, ABA, or UK-SBA aligned qualification (desirable)
  • Confident coach and mentor with a collaborative leadership style
  • Knowledge of BILD ACT, RRN standards, and least restrictive practice
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to use data to drive improvements
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
  • Most importantly, you are passionate about empowering people to live full, meaningful lives and supporting teams to deliver outstanding, compassionate care.
