The role

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will join SSE's Data Platform team to drive analysis across complex data platforms and enable the delivery of high-impact, data-driven products. You will play a key role in SSE's transformation by shaping scalable, well-governed data products, ensuring strong data quality and lineage, and enabling better operational, commercial, and strategic decision‑making through trusted insights.

Working closely with Product Owners, data engineers, architects and senior business stakeholders, you will provide analytical leadership across the data lifecycle from defining requirements and data models to managing dependencies and risk. You will act as a trusted advisor, translating complex data and technical concepts into clear, value‑led outcomes, while also supporting the development of analysis capability and best practice across SSE's data community.
