We are currently seeking a hands‑on Applications / Project Engineer in Fareham to support the development and delivery of advanced touch and sensing technologies. This is a varied role combining product development, customer interaction, and technical support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, prototype, and validate touch, force, and haptics-based products
- Perform system testing, tuning, and firmware validation
- Act as a technical contact for customers, translating requirements into solutions
- Support projects from concept through to production
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide on‑site support when needed
- Assist the sales team with technical input and customer demonstrations
Requirements:
- Degree in Electronics, Physics, or similar (or equivalent experience)
- Strong circuit analysis and hands‑on hardware skills (including soldering)
- Basic programming/firmware knowledge (e.g. C, Python)
- Structured problem‑solving approach
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with EMC testing, capacitive sensing, or CAD/3D tools
