- Be the main point of contact for logging, assessing and communicating technical issues with clients.
- Carry out routine checks and servicing to keep systems operating efficiently.
- Diagnose faults and troubleshoot automated laboratory equipment and robotics.
- Commission on robotic equipment, ensuring client requirements and expectations are met.
- Document detailed service reports for traceability purposes and follow up with clients ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Extensive experience in a field service (or customer-facing) engineering position
- Experience with the operation and maintenance of robotic systems, including and of the following: ABB, Staubli, Universal Robots, and Brooks Automation.
- Strong background in servicing, maintaining and commissioning on technical equipment, with a focus on Electro‑mechanical systems
- HNC or higher in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Competent with the maintenance of robotic systems
- Ability to travel globally majority of the time
