Job Description:

This rapidly expanding organisation requires a Finance Systems / TM1 Developer to manage the control and integrity of financial data and processes, ensuring efficient data interfaces and accurate, timely management information to support decision making.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of delivering data to finance-administered systems, primarily Cognos TM1.
  • Extract data from various sources and perform data cleansing as required.
  • Manage data feeds between source systems and the Cognos TM1 reporting and forecasting tool.
  • Perform necessary control reconciliations and resolve data anomalies and exceptions.
  • Support the design, build, and maintenance of IBM Planning Analytics / TM1 reporting and forecasting tool.
  • Support the finance team in providing relevant information to key stakeholders.
  • Drive the development of insightful financial analysis and identify opportunities to add value.
  • Embed a culture of continuous improvement and advocate change within a growing organisation.
  • Support transformation projects related to the upgrade and development of finance systems, e.g., Workday implementation.
  • Advise on changes to security to ensure appropriate segregation of duties or improve efficiency, control, accuracy or effectiveness of finance systems.
  • Provide information requested by internal or external auditors.
  • Lead training on finance-administered systems.
  • Represent the finance function on project and other ad-hoc work requests.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Advanced / SME level user of TM1.
  • Prior experience developing in IBM Planning Analytics / TM1 (essential).
  • Experience administering databases and managing manual data feeds (advantageous).
  • Self-starter with good problem-solving skills.
  • Experience collating, managing, and analysing large volumes of data from a range of sources.
  • Flexible and willing to adapt to changing business demands, with a focus on quality, timely delivery, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills.
  • Excellent Excel skills.
  • Prior experience with Workday Planning Analytics (advantageous).
