The role
Staycity is seeking a Senior Acquisitions Architect to join our team in London. This is a high-impact role at the centre of our growth strategy, supporting the delivery of 2,000 keys per year across Europe. As Europe’s leading aparthotel provider, our Development team plays a critical role in shaping a pipeline of high-performing assets across Staycity and Wilde. You will work closely with Development Directors to optimise schemes at the earliest stage, driving asset value, efficiency, and brand integrity across a rapidly scaling portfolio.

We would love you to have
- 10+ years as an Architect (incl. hospitality + feasibility experience)
- Strong track record in early-stage design / appraisal
- Deep understanding of density, net-to-gross, and spatial efficiency
- Commercial mindset — can link design to value and performance
- Experience working with development and delivery teams
- Confidence to challenge, simplify, and make decisions early
- Clear communicator — turns design into commercial insight
What you can do for us
- Optimise key count, mix, and layouts early (Stage 2) before design locks
- Drive EBITDA, rent capacity, and asset value through smarter feasibility
- Improve GIA efficiency (cores, circulation, BOH) at scale
- Pressure-test deals for density, viability, and commercial performance
- Reduce CAPEX risk and redesign cyclesEnable faster go / no-go decisions
- Partner with Development to iterate fast and lock decisions early
- Build repeatable feasibility standards across the pipeline
- Protect Staycity & Wilde brand integrity as we scale
