Position Overview
Looking for a Project Engineer role where you can lead from the front and shape site-wide engineering improvements. You will manage engineering projects end-to-end, ensuring delivery to specification, on budget, and in line with strict food manufacturing safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Delivering end-to-end CAPEX and site engineering projects
- Leading technical project planning, design reviews, and implementation phases
- Managing external contractors and ensuring compliance with H&S standards
- Supporting site strategy through structured project execution
- Embedding continuous improvement and engineering best practice
- Using CAD where required to support project design and modification
Qualifications
- Extensive experience as a Project Engineer in FMCG, food manufacturing, or industrial environments
- Strong electrical engineering expertise (essential)
- CAD experience (required)
- Proven project management and budget control capability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- PMP or PRINCE2 desirable
- A proactive, improvement-focused mindset
