Veterinary Surgeon - Whetstone (Part-Time, 24 hours per week)
Are you a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon looking for a new challenge in a brand‑new, purpose‑built practice? We opened our doors in Whetstone in July 2025 and are excited to grow our team as we continue this journey.
We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and supportive team, where collaboration and high clinical standards are at the heart of everything we do.
Our Practice Owner, Shweta Nakrani, qualified from the University of Liverpool in 2011 and is currently working towards a Certificate in Veterinary Consulting (CertNCS). Shweta has a keen interest in cat‑friendly practice, soft tissue surgery, and brachycephalic airway syndrome.
Shweta says: “I’m excited to build a team in Whetstone that champions a supportive culture, a proactive mindset, and a genuinely positive working environment.”
Our modern, purpose‑built surgery is fully equipped with digital and dental x‑ray, a dedicated theatre, and separate cat, dog, and isolation wards. We also offer a spacious and comfortable colleague area, creating a pleasant environment for the whole team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a well‑equipped practice with a varied caseload, allowing you to utilise your current skills while continuing to develop. We are committed to supporting CPD and further qualifications.
Whetstone, in the London Borough of Barnet, offers the perfect balance of city convenience and suburban charm. With excellent transport links into central London and easy access to the M25 and A1, commuting is simple. The area also boasts a great selection of shops, cafés, restaurants, and green spaces.
If you’d like to find out more, please contact Jack from our Talent Acquisition team at covet@vets4pets.com for a confidential, informal chat.
Alternatively, apply now and we’ll be in touch to discuss your application. We look forward to hearing from you.
