We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional to join our Public Health Substance Use Team, with a background in substance use and/or housing. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping and delivering a whole‑system approach to substance use, working across a wide range of partners to improve outcomes for residents.
You will support the strategic development, commissioning and delivery of priorities from Derbyshire’s Housing Support Grant application, working closely with colleagues across public health, housing, adult social care, health, criminal justice, recovery services and the voluntary and community sector. The role requires strong partnership working skills and the ability to bring together different organisations around shared priorities.
You will have experience working in substance use and/or housing, or a closely related field, and a strong understanding of the complex issues facing people affected by drug and alcohol use.
The Job and Person Specification contains full details of the skills and experience you need to have for the role.
A postgraduate qualification in Public Health is a desirable element of this role, so contact Rosalie.weetman@derbyshire.gov.uk if you would like to find out more.
