Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age (21 for positions requiring driving, with a valid driver’s license).
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must successfully pass a background check.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and breath alcohol test (if applicable).
- Must complete an Employee Health meeting prior to starting employment.
- Current and active Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact license. Required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or be obtained within ninety (90) days of hire). Required
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or be obtained within six (6) months of hire). Required
- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification (or be obtained within one (1) year of hire). Required
- Current Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification (or be obtained within one (1) year of hire). Required
- Current STABLE certification (or be obtained within one (1) year of hire). Required
- Current Neonatal Resusitation Program (NRP) certification (or be obtained within one (1) year of hire). Required
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field. Preferred
Experience
- Two (2) years hospital nursing experience. Preferred
- One (1) year Emergency Department (ED) or Critical Care Nursing experience. Preferred
