Electrical Engineer
Our Client – Food Manufacturing
Our client is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join their engineering team, delivering reliable and efficient electrical support across a busy production site.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for maintaining operational efficiency by minimising downtime and ensuring all electrical systems are running safely and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site
- Respond rapidly to breakdowns, minimising disruption to production
- Complete all work to a high standard, safely and within required timeframes
- Support and contribute to engineering maintenance strategies
- Work closely with production to prioritise tasks in line with business needs
- Maintain a clean, organised workshop and ensure all tools are safe and fit for purpose
- Complete accurate job reports and maintenance records each shift
- Support the Shift Leader to ensure the smooth running of operations
- Source and order non-stock parts when required
- Undertake any additional duties as requested by Engineering or Senior Management

- Proven electrical maintenance experience within a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively to breakdowns
- A proactive, team-oriented approach
