We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to support ongoing projects within the water and wastewater sector across Devon and Somerset. This is a long‑term contract opportunity offering up to £350 per day (LTD), with a company van and fuel card provided.

This role is primarily supervisory (non‑working) but will include hands‑on support where required. You will play a key role in mentoring and training electricians, supporting design development, and overseeing installation works to ensure safe and compliant delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise electrical installation works on water and wastewater sites
  • Provide technical guidance and on‑site leadership to electricians and apprentices
  • Deliver on‑job training and mentoring to electrical teams
  • Assist with electrical design reviews and provide practical installation input
  • Support project managers in planning and coordinating site activities
  • Ensure all works are carried out in line with industry regulations and site standards
  • Maintain high standards of health & safety compliance
  • Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and quality checks
  • Step in to undertake installation work where required

Requirements

  • Proven experience supervising electrical works within the water sector (water/wastewater treatment works experience highly desirable)
  • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical installations
  • Experience mentoring or training electricians
  • Ability to interpret and contribute to electrical design drawings
  • ECS/CSCS card
  • 18th Edition (BS7671)
  • SSSTS or SMSTS preferred
  • Full UK driving licence
